Kambell Henry is the 15-year-old daughter of Josh and Keri Henry of Worden where she is a student at Vichy Christian Academy. She is an active member of the Illinois High School Rodeo Association where she competes in barrel racing and pole bending. She also enjoys competing at jackpot rodeos, fun riding with her friends, and training and working with the horses on her farm. Kambell is the 2022 Illinois NBHA youth 4D champion, the 2024 Illinois IBRA 2D and 3D Top Dog, and the 2023 Illinois IBRA 4D Top Dog and National IBRA 4D Youth Top 5. When Kambell turns 18, she would like to get her permit card and start working towards qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo. Outside of the rodeo arena Kambell enjoys scuba diving at Mermet Springs in Southern Illinois, around Mexico, and Florida. Kambell enjoys volunteering at the Fuller Center in Vandalia with her grandmother. She also enjoys fishing, deer hunting, and spending time at the lake with her family. When she grows up, Kambell plans to have a career as a Conservation Police Officer. Throughout the year, Kambell will travel across the state promoting Illinois, agriculture, rodeo, and the western way of life!
